“Impact and Outcomes:
Using Data for Meaningful Change”

November 4-6, 2015 - Portland, OR - Benson Hotel

The theme selected for our 36th Annual PNAIRP Conference is “Impact and Outcomes - Using Data for Meaningful Change.” This year's conference will be held in the heart of downtown Portland at one of the city's most treasured historic landmarks, the Benson Hotel, November 4-6, 2015.

The Benson Hotel is within walking distance to all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment of the Pearl District, Pioneer Square and downtown. Further, the boutiques, bookstores, breweries, and live performances that epitomize Portland culture are just steps away.

This year's Theme: “Impact and Outcomes - Using Data for Meaningful Change”

PNAIRP 2015 will take forward the conversation about how data and research can be used to identify, design and evaluate strategies that lead to student success and institutional effectiveness.

  • Thread: Data and Strategic Planning: Applying data and research to identify and evaluate strategic priorities for interventions, projects, or initiatives
  • Thread: Performance Indicators: Designing, applying and evaluating effective and meaningful performance indicators, avoiding pitfalls of process versus outcome evaluation, etc.
  • Thread: Evaluating the 'Hard to Measure': Measuring challenging indicators, such as community impact, student engagement, alumni outcomes, etc.
  • Thread: Research Methodology: Applying 'big data' analysis to identify and prioritize strategies for student success, or identify successful approaches from the 'top down'; working with qualitative methods for measuring change, etc.
