A Spooktacular Conference!

PNAIRP and BCIRP

November 6th-8th, 2024

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Conference registration will open in spring, 2024.

In 2024, we're partnering with British Columbia Institutional Research and Planning to host a conference inspired by the haunted history of Victoria.

Considered one of the most haunted cities in Canada, Victoria boasts haunted houses, alleys, and hotels.  Our conference venue has a photo of the ghost of the former owner visiting the hotel grounds.

From zombie projects, to deadlines and data ghosts from reporting past, the spirit of data excellence inhabits the IR/IE folks who themselves haunt the hallways of ivy towers.

The Annual PNAIRP Conference is an opportunity for you to learn from your peers, invited speakers, and higher ed decision makers from across our region.  Members from institutions in all sectors of higher ed meet to exchange ideas, share tips and tricks, and advance the field of Institutional Research.

Conference locations rotate through our member states and provinces triennially, generally in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, though the board is exploring the idea of hosting the conference in other areas. (Idaho and Alaska, we're looking at you!)

In addition to attending the the conference, you can also help with the planning and/or volunteer to help during the conference by signing up to help with registration, serving as a moderator, or hosting a dessert round table.  Companies interested in sharing their IR-related software and products can sponsor parts of the conference.  For more information, click on the links below:
